pablo this morning on how hackers got through and raley's warning to customers now. good morning. >> reporter: we don't exactly know how the hackers got through but this morning the store's opening right now 6 a.m. with enhanced security for its computer system. that is because the computer system contains -- in an area containing shopper information was compromised. they believe that the system was in fact hacked. now, raley's is getting help from the fbi in what is suspected to be a complex criminal cyber attack on a portion of its computer network. that portion that contained credit and debit card numbers was stolen. now, at least one shopper has had fraudulent activities seen on her credit card. this happened last thursday. some vitamins, videogames and others showed up on a customer's card. the credit union caught the activity, closed the account and then the raley's launched an investigation. >> i think they should have a strong i.t. department so that they have good strong firewalls. >> we had security measures in place and cyber security is a never-ending battle. >> repor

"today in the bay's" christie smith, is live outside of a raley's grocery store in fremont with a look at how hackers could be getting access to customer's debit and credit card information. something a lot of people have to be on alert for, kristy. railly's thinks it may be the victim of a malicious cyberattack. late last week, a credit card company notified them of suspicious activity going on outside of what there might be in a normal payment transaction. from there, they launched an immediate investigation to find out whether anyone's personal payment information was compromised or stolen. so far, the supermarket hasn't confirmed any unauthorized access. they don't believe pin numbers were taken and they don't collect social security numbers or driver's license numbers. they are still gathering information on this. here is what they suggest you do if you've shopped here. check your bank or credit card statements for any unauthorized transaction. of course, contact your bank or credit card company if you see anything suspicious. anything that you didn't do. raley's has a respon

morning. raley's and union refs will resume negotiations. amy hollyfield is live at the picket line. >> reporter: good news they are going back to the table. even at 5:30 in the morning the picket line continues, a small group making their statement in front of raley's. their union said it is not going to let its guard down this is a small group we have video during the daytime when the crowd is larger and more active many union officials believe their picket lines have diverted customers to other stores and forcing the company to listen and consider their demands. the strike involves 7,000 workers, it started last sunday, this has been going on for over a week, raley's has been negotiating with its workers for 15 months. last week made its last bet final offer, members didn't like it and decided to strike. the offer included a two year wage freeze. raley's says it needs to cut costs, saying it is in a fiercely competitive market stalemate happened. now both sides say they are going to come back to the table which could be seen as a good sign the hope is they can reach agreement. we
